​​​​​Dr. Nadia Nassar Kuhn, M.D., is the Founder and CEO of Seaside Psychiatry and a psychiatrist specializing in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. She provides trusted, highly personalized psychiatric care for executives, high-performing professionals, and their families, with an emphasis on discretion, continuity, and genuine connection.

Dr. Nassar Kuhn works with individuals and families who carry significant responsibility—leaders, professionals, and parents navigating complex personal and professional demands. Her approach is thoughtful and collaborative, grounded in a deep understanding of the emotional pressures that accompany achievement. Care is tailored with precision, supporting clarity, resilience, and sustainable well-being over time.

Her background in education informs a clinical style that is both clear and empowering. Before medicine, Dr. Nassar Kuhn taught science in Los Angeles and with the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, an experience that continues to shape her ability to translate complex concepts into meaningful insight and action.

Dr. Nassar Kuhn earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and completed advanced training in Adult Psychiatry at the University of California, Irvine, followed by subspecialty fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego. She has served in clinical leadership roles, including Medical Director of a women’s recovery center and school psychiatrist for an adolescent day treatment program in San Diego.

At the core of Dr. Nassar Kuhn’s work is a long-term, relationship-centered model of care. She partners closely with patients and families across stages of life, offering a steady, trusted presence as needs evolve.

​​​​​Dr. Nisha Patel, M.D., is a psychiatrist specializing in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. She provides thoughtful, personalized psychiatric care for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel understood, empowered, and actively involved in their care.

Dr. Patel takes an integrative and relationship-centered approach, recognizing that each person’s mental health is shaped by their unique experiences, relationships, environment, and goals. She works collaboratively with patients and families to develop individualized treatment plans that may incorporate psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions, mindfulness practices, and medication management when appropriate.

At the core of Dr. Patel’s work is a commitment to understanding the whole person—not just their symptoms. She believes effective psychiatric care begins with connection, curiosity, and a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s story.

Dr. Patel has a particular interest in women’s mental health and supporting young adults through periods of transition, identity development, and changing life demands. Her approach combines compassion, clinical expertise, and practical strategies to help patients build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Patel studied Biology at Nova Southeastern University, where she also completed a minor in Psychology. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University and completed her Adult Psychiatry residency at New York Metropolitan Hospital. She then pursued advanced subspecialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego, where she developed expertise in supporting individuals and families through complex developmental and emotional challenges.
