INSURANCE and FEES

Seaside Psychiatry does not take any insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. We are invested in providing high quality psychiatric treatment without restrictions from insurance companies. This ensures that patients will receive care tailored to their needs rather than to their insurance company’s demands. Full payment is due at the time of service. We accept payment by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.

The physicians at Seaside Psychiatry are considered out-of-network providers however many PPO insurance plans qualify for substantial reimbursement for services provided. Before scheduling your appointment, please contact your insurance carrier and inquire about your out-of-network benefits and percentage of reimbursement. Some insurance plans require a deductible to be met before reimbursement is given. A receipt ("superbill") can be provided to you to submit to your insurance if you are applying for reimbursement. Our services are not eligible for any reimbursement by Medicare or Medicaid. ​

When inquiring with your insurance about reimbursement for appointments your insurance may ask you for CPT codes.  The following CPT codes are typically used:   
  • 90792 Diagnostic Evaluation with Medical Services
  • 99213 Established Outpatient Evaluation and Management 
  • 99214 Established Outpatient Evaluation and Management 
  • 99215 Established Outpatient Evaluation and Management 
  • 90834 Individual Psychotherapy 
  • 90837 Individual Psychotherapy 
  • 90838 Individual Psychotherapy with Evaluation and Management 
  • 90846 Family Psychotherapy-without patient 
  • 90847 Family Psychotherapy-with patient
  • 99443 Telephone Evaluation and Management Service
  • 90887 Interpretation or explanation of results to family
